Long Island 27

Pencil drawing of the words LONG ISLAND, each letter built from a shoreline object: a lighthouse, a life ring, a dune fence, a horseshoe crab, a gull on a piling, a breaking wave, a whale, a sailboat, dock pilings and a shell, above a Route 27 shield with a rising sun.

Our story

A thank-you to a place that keeps giving

We moved to Long Island six years ago and never looked back. Center Moriches gave us a boat, a bay, and a road that runs from Brooklyn to Montauk. This brand is our way of saying thank you to a place that keeps giving.

We're a family based in Center Moriches, Long Island. Our designs are built from the things you pass along that road: lighthouses, docks, dune fences, the bay and the ocean. Little things, drawn with care.

Wear the road home.

What the letters mean

Ten letters, ten little pieces of the Island

Look closer at LONG ISLAND and you'll find the shoreline hiding in it.

  1. L

    Lighthouse

For every light that ever walked a boat home.

  2. O

    Life ring

Hung on every dock, just in case.

Weathered slats holding the beach in place.

  4. G

Older than the dinosaurs, still on the bay beach.

  5. I

    Gull on a piling

The harbor's lookout, always first in line.

  6. S

    Wave

The ocean side, rolling in. Tide in, tide out.

  7. L

    Whale

A nod to the whaling towns out east.

  8. A

    Sailboat

Summer afternoons with the wind just right.

  9. N

    Dock pilings

Rope-wrapped and salt-worn, where the day starts.

A quahog-and-shell nod to the clam flats and the bay.
